Life as Lesbian

Do you have a dream to walk down the street and talk to any woman and then you want to find out if they are a lesbian? This most likely is a dream that won't come true for some years to come, but in some communities this is a very real reality that happens.
Larger cities appear to be more open to situations and differences between people than small towns are. Larger cities are more diverse in the types of people, the lifestyles that people lead and the continued changes in the city where life in a small town never really changes it just goes on which is where different people with different lifestyles often feel left out or unwanted which is how you might feel if you are moving into a new small community. If given the chance choose life in the bigger city where you can meet other lady lesbians just like you where no one minds differences or lifestyles.
How to handle ignorance
Lesbians are not openly welcome in certain situations and most of us know this but there are ways that you can get other people to over come their ignorance and their so-called fear of lesbians.
First you will have to earn respect in everything that you do, you will find that no one is going to hand you anything just because you are the new woman or because they know you are a lesbian. In fact, you will find that friends you make, respect that you earn and the corporate ladder may actually be a little more difficult to build or experience because you are a lesbian. Keeping your private and your social or business life separate will most likely be best until you have established your career, your friends and your life as an individual.
This is most likely best not for the people that surround you in your daily life, but for you so that you can focus on a career, build a loving relationship with a woman while you are growing as a person and as a couple before you add the difficulties of the rest of the world into your life.
